Workshop: Discover World of Fungi by The Forest of Hope
What can we learn from the nature around us? During a short mushroom walk at Landgoed De Wielewaal, we will explore the fascinating world of mushrooms and fungi. Together with a group, we will discover the small wonders of the forest and take a closer look at the shapes, colours and connections that make nature so special..
This walk will provide the inspiration for a creative workshop with The Forest of Hope. This international initiative brings people together around themes such as nature, sustainability, peace and connection. Nature invites us to look at the world from a different perspective and discover new ideas.
After the walk, it is time to get creative. Inspired by what we have discovered along the way, each participant will create their own piece of artwork during the workshop. Using textiles, needle and thread, you will bring your ideas to life and discover how your individual creation can become part of something bigger.
What can we learn from the cooperation and interconnectedness found in nature? And how can you turn that inspiration into something of your own?
Join us outdoors, be surprised by the fascinating world of fungi and discover how an inspiring walk can grow into a personal and creative experience.
